Scribus is an Open Source software program similar in its design and concept to Adobe InDesign. When combined with the Open Source PhotoDigital editing program 'The Gimp' and the Open Source Vector drawing package 'Inkscape' you have a very powerful desktop publishing combination that will cost you absolutely nothing.
There is a tremendous amount of online documentation available on how to use the program. Just follow the links on the left. Versions of all three programs are available for Windows and Linux.
Desktoptips will also show you how to combine images from Inkscape and The Gimp with Scribus and then output a PDF file for the printer.
