It is much easier to adjust colors in CMYK mode. Below is a simple slide show showing you how to achieve this using Photoshop. You can go to the beginning of the slide show by pressing the refresh button on your browser menu. THESLIDE SHOW STARTS WHEN THE PAGE OPENS - YOU JUST HAVE TO WAIT FOR THE NEXT FRAME.
ADJUSTING COLOR IN CMYK MODE:

First we will convert the Image to CMYK and then adjust the colors in the Magenta channel using Curves.
It is easy to look at an Image and see whether it is lacking in one color or whether it needs more. The Image used in this exercise is too cold and needs a little Magenta added to warm it up.
It's interesting how we associate reds with warm and blues with cold.
